Deaf in Children's Books

It's pretty difficult finding children's books with deaf characters in it, especially as the main characters of the books. Deaf children go through so much growing up and I wish they could have a wider access to children's books with characters that are just like them. That would give them comfort finding where they belong in this world and give them an inspiration with who they want to "grow up" into.

I should look into how to write children's books and do that. I just can't draw well! :P
